“Bigotry is cutting short innocent lives. Religious discrimination thrives. Homophobia breeds bias. Gender inequality exists. Economic disparities are prevalent. People who are differently abled still struggle for inclusion. Protests are happening worldwide!
These are all indications of the work we still have to do to bring about peace and social justice around the globe. During this time of unrest as we’re plagued by shootings, murders, and terrorist threats throughout the world, the American Conference on Diversity continues to work to break down barriers that divide. It’s difficult to image peace in the midst of such tragedies – and there’s still a long way to go!
