The American Conference on Diversity has been nominated by the Diversity Academy Awards as an outstanding nonprofit for its commitment toward creating a more diverse and inclusive world.

The diversity leadership development organization, along with 35 other companies and individuals nominated across 14 categories, will be recognized and the winners announced at the Diversity Academy Awards Ceremony (formerly the DANDI Awards) on Friday, November 4 in New York City, NY.

“The American Conference on Diversity builds on a legacy of bold interfaith leaders uniting for justice. Today, the American Conference on Diversity continues to tackle America’s unfinished business addressing bias, bigotry, and racism,” says President and CEO Elizabeth Williams-Riley. “Since 1948, we have worked to help youth, educators, community and corporate leaders tap into the diversity and power among us to value and appreciate our differences.”

The Awards celebration immediately follows the Leadership Institute, a leadership Socratic forum on diversity and inclusion.

The Diversity Academy Awards, founded in 2012, heralds individuals and organizations for demonstrating outstanding commitment to creating a more diverse and inclusive world! The annual celebration recognizes and honors those who represent exemplary commitment and focus on diversity and inclusion. The mission is to celebrate the contributions of any individual, group, or organization that is truly making a difference towards creating a diverse and inclusive world.
