The American Conference on Diversity is seeking an Office Coordinator to further the statewide non-profit’s diversity and inclusion programs that help employers and their employees, community organizations, and institutions explore ways to value diversity and promote respect. Successful candidate will be assertive, experienced in office administration, must have strong verbal and written communication skills. Candidate must have a high level of comfort working with diverse populations of all races, ages, religions, and cultures. Must have the ability to establish positive and supportive rapport with team, board, and volunteers. Statewide travel required. Should display keen interpersonal skills and have excellent computer skills.

Office Coordinator  Job Description – Immediate Start

Main Function: Coordinates daily operations and provides administrative support to the President & CEO to conduct the business of the organization. Coordinates general operations with team and handles office administrative duties.

Reports to – President & CEO


  • Supports the President & CEO on special projects, conference calls and meeting arrangements, correspondence, scheduling and Board of Directors projects and confidential projects
  • Works with the President & CEO and consultant team on official and confidential contribution receipting, office management projects and tasks and website needs
  • Computer Network Administrator
  • Website management and oversight
  • Confidential database management
  • Maintains functional supplies and data
  • Fundraising and Program event support
  • Supervise mailings and printing projects
  • Special Projects
  • May require statewide travel


  • 2-3 year experience in office administration
  • Basic understanding of Diversity & Inclusion
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong communication skills written and verbal
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Time management skills and multi-task oriented
  • Proficient computer skills and database management (Microsoft Office, Sage, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, WordPress)
  • Project management skills
