“At what age should children start learning about diversity? As early as possible,” says the American Conference on Diversity President and CEO Elizabeth Williams-Riley. “To combat bias within our society, it’s critically important that early childhood educators create classrooms where students discover a healthy relationship with diversity and set an empowering tone for a future of embracing diversity!”
Our Anti-Bias Institute facilitators use instruction, facilitated dialogue, small group discussion, and other self-assessment tools to help you effectively combat bias. Instructors will include American Conference on Diversity’s Pam Harris, Director of Education & Evaluation, and Bari Katz, Director of Youth/Collegiate Services.
