We offer diversity education, anti-bullying, and leadership training workshops for youth that take place on-site at participating schools, as well as off-site teambuilding retreats.

 

 

Awareness to Action
What the program is:
Customized workshops, utilizing experiential activities, that infuse a greater understanding of diversity, inclusion, and anti-bullying into students’ learning environments
Purpose:
To build knowledge and skills around diversity, anti-bullying, and social justice issues so that students can become change agents in their schools and communities. These student leaders will utilize their new skills to make their schools and organizations more welcoming for people from all backgrounds.
Who it serves:
Middle and high school students
Program Format:
  • full-day, half-day, or multi-day on-site workshops about specific diversity issues, general diversity issues, anti-bullying, or identified issues affecting the school community
  • off-site overnight teambuilding retreats
  • advisory and classroom-based workshop facilitation to supplement school curriculum.
  • work with after-school clubs
Program Cost:
Half Day Workshops: $45/participant
Full Day Workshops: $65/participant
Overnight Workshops: $125/participant/night

Leadership Development Training
What the program is:
Partner schools nominate up to 30 students to receive 10 hours of leadership development and facilitation training by expert facilitators. This includes work with afterschool clubs and advisory or peer leadership classes.
Purpose:
To provide students with leadership and facilitation skills that will help them to successfully lead and engage in peer dialogue.
Who it serves:
Middle and high school students
Program Format:
This is a series of trainings that can be delivered in ten one-hour sessions, five two-hour sessions, one full-day session with four one-hour follow-up sessions, or two-day retreat.
