I appreciate the learning environment created. These can be sensitive topics; however, the facilitators create a ‘safe to say’ environment. The teaching style keeps the content moving.
The training was highly useful and challenged me to look deeper into my management style and identify development opportunities.
At Goldman Sachs we believe that for us to be successful, our men and women must reflect the diversity of the communities and cultures in which we operate. We have witnessed first-hand the important work of the American Conference on Diversity in supporting this principle by educating and empowering the youth of New Jersey to respect inclusiveness. Their efforts to celebrate diversity and promote tolerance in our high schools now directly benefits New Jersey’s workplaces in the future.
Thank you so much for the wonderful workshop on personal bias and bigotry awareness that you presented. We found it extremely helpful and eye-opening. I will definitely recommend your programs to others I find in need.
We have been working with the staff from the American Conference on Diversity since 2003 and our experience has always been very good. The facilitators leading the training each have their own style and they have been well received by our staff. The facilitators tailor their content to help our staff at all levels—faculty, administrative staff, maintenance and housekeeping—to grasp the topics of diversity and cultural differences that are important to our academic community.
