Our rich legacy of building bridges across cultural divides has roots dating back to 1927 with the National Conference of Christians and Jews in New York City. In 1948, New Jersey became our home to extend the borders of promoting respect and inclusion to our communities.

Today, New Jersey is one of the nation’s most diverse states and reaps the benefits of our work. Led by dedicated leaders from corporate, education, faith, media, and youth sectors, the American Conference on Diversity works to build an even stronger legacy of change from generation to generation.

Join us as we continue the process of changing lives. Unite with thousands across the state and across the country that have already witnessed first-hand the difference awareness and diversity education can make in our homes, schools, communities, and workplaces.

Share in our commitment and mission of empowering individuals and institutions to address issues of bias and discrimination and advocate for meaningful social change in our communities. You can get involved through program participation, philanthropic gifts, volunteer hours, professional development diversity trainings/education, and partnerships with the American Conference on Diversity.
We look forward to welcoming you into our work this year!
