The mission of the Regional Community Networks is to unite a cadre of committed leadership to support the statewide programs and services that provide a more robust educational experience and empower leaders while building relationships that advance inclusion and justice in schools, workplaces and communities.

What We Do
The American Conference on Diversity (ACOD) Regional Community Networks are made up of New Jersey-based individuals, corporations and community organizers that are committed to advancing ACOD’s mission, supporting diversity and inclusion, and serving as key stakeholders and ambassadors for ACOD. Our volunteer members hold expertise in leadership development, community and capacity building and fund development, and serve schools, workplaces, and communities through community engagement, diversity education and training, advocacy, recognition and fundraising.
Our networks provide educational forums and programs for community leaders, professionals and students.
Our members annually recognize diversity champions through ceremonies and awards.
We unite leaders in the nonprofit, collegiate, corporate, faith, and finance sectors, and local communities.
As a network member you will have the opportunity to volunteer your services in a number of ways including, but not limited to the following:
Serve as a speaker or panelist at events
Serve on our Network Committees
Host Network meetings and events
Engage in donor cultivation
Lead annual fundraising activities
Champion diversity and inclusion issues in your area
Participate in our youth mentoring initiatives

Do you know of an outstanding leader in your community that has demonstrated American Conference on Diversity’s mission to value diversity, educate leaders and promote respect? Has this person or organization shown excellence and achievement, experience or practical involvement in more than one of the following categories?
- Community or public service which improves the quality of life for citizens regardless of race or creed or ethnic, cultural or national origin.
- Philanthropy and support of organizations, institutions or other organized causes that serve in the best interest of the public.
- Leadership within the public, private and/or nonprofit sectors that serves to motivate others to promote the mission of the American Conference on Diversity
